Very nice, and worth $3, but not perfect.
This weather program has nearly all the features you could want in regard to weather. Its very nice in that regard.
However, it has one big flaw. Each location in the list has its own little window, whether its in "single window" mode, or "widget" mode. The only difference is that in the former, all cities are shown or hidden at once (first picture above), while in the latter they can be shown individually or all at once, but theyre in separate windows that can be moved and closed individually. No problems there.
But the actual "window" that displays the weather for each city is not wide enough. There are 3 "zoom" levels that make the windows larger or smaller, but its literally a magnification of the whole whole window. The medium and large size literally show the same information, just larger. But if you are looking at the 10-Day Forecast window, for example, and you have all the options turned on (humidity, wind speed, etc.), then the window is not wide enough to display all the information, and it isnt otherwise resizable. You have to scroll to the right to see humidity. Thats really not good.
Having said that: another plus that you dont see in many such programs is that you can open the same city in two different windows, so you can see todays conditions in one window and 10-day forecast in another. Thats a real plus.
All in all, its a great app but it is sorely in need of the ability to make the windows bigger. I understand that its a complex window to try to make resizable by dragging. BUT the windows really should be wide enough to show all the daily information (10-Day view) without having to scroll.
Me, damnit. about ClassicWeather HD
